Jake Huber

I got my start in the industry after graduating from the University of Missouri – Columbia in December of 2010. Shortly after graduating I began working as a photo assistant for Sports Illustrated staff photographer David E. Klutho. The experiences of working alongside Dave led to working with USA Today Sports Images at the Super Bowl, Final Four and Olympic Games.

My passion for creative storytelling led me into the world of video production. I consider myself very fortunate to have worked with some incredible brands and incredible people. Some of which have taken me around the world.

I got my start directing video contests for Poptent, and winning a lot got me access to working with big brands. I then moved into the viral video world, working as a producer/director for Vat19. Here I produced and directed over 400 viral videos for their youtube channel, which has over 7 million subscribers and 6 billion views (at the time of writing this).

Some of the Brands I have worked with include: McDonalds, Netflix, Pizza Hut, Bud Light and Liquid Plumr.

My short film “Lover’s Lookout” received awards for best short film and best cinematography at the 2013 Quirk Fest film festival. The film has also screened at numerous festivals across the country, including the critically-acclaimed LA Comedy Film Festival.
